Other Tips:

When changing the batteries, don’t touch the front of the remote as this can reprogram it.

We have found that Duracell batteries seem to be the best fit for the remote and the receiver box. They slide in the easiest.

When putting batteries in the remote and receiver box make sure they make contact and are placed in the right way.

If it doesn’t work, you may need to reprogram your remote. On the receiver box, hit the “PROGRAM” button and you should hear 2 beeps, then on the remote, hit the “ON” button and you should hear 4 beeps.

If the unit still doesn’t come on, take the batteries out of the remote and change the receiver box to the “ON” mode and see if the fireplace starts, if not call us.

If the remote is more than 25 feet from the fireplace, the unit will shut off and the remote will not work to turn it back on.
