NCHPBA EDUCATION – CATE

Did you know that at Hansen & Sons Chimney & Fireplace we strive to stay at the top of our game and make sure we are informed and trained on the latest industry standards and practices? One of the ways we do this is attend to many different training programs throughout the year.

One of these the NCHPBA developed as a separate not-for-profit organization to manage all industry and public education endeavors.  The name of that association is Combustion Appliance Training & Education, Inc. (CATE).  It received full IRS tax exempt status in 2015.

CATE works closely with members of the NCHPBA Annual Meeting & Exhibits Committee to coordinate the annual meeting and conference each year.  It also works on obtaining grants for various education and training projects as well as public and related industry education programs.

Hansen & Sons attends this program every year and brings back new and exciting ideas to share with everyone.
